Tonies® Avatar Generator
The Tonies community seems to be growing more and more – this has become especially clear within the last year. The Toniebox community is known for their strong play instinct – to support this and to generate more traffic on the website, we were asked to create the Tonie Avatar Generator. Of course, just in time to get everyone excited for the new year and the holiday season.
The task
Our task was to increase the customer retention rate and create a positive brand experience. Tonie fans should have the opportunity to create their own personal Tonie in an avatar generator and share it via social media.
The idea
Step 1: You choose your own personal Tonie from the many different assets such as hair color, clothing and other fun accessories.
Step 2: You are then able to choose a matching background and a charming greeting message. After you are finished you can send your custom Tonie to your family and friends.
Step 3: Joy 😊
The outcome
The avatar generator was launched on Facebook and Instagram a week before Christmas and by the beginning of January, more than 20,000 avatars had already been created and shared.
